Wrong Contract - cant change

Anonymous
Not applicable

OK, Its my fault at least in part.

I upgraded to an IPhone5 and signed the contract, but did not check my usage.

I am now on an unlimited talk and text package, but I only use an average 180 mins and 35 texts per month.

Any ideas how I can get out of this expensive mess?

I spent 3.5 hours online with 6 o2 reps trying to get something done only to be offered the 'refresh' and I need to have a new phone!

How long have you had the contract? Have you actually spoken to someone on 202 to discuss your options? Webchat is a little lacking when discussing account issues I'm afraid.

This is probably the most important question. If you are past the 7 or 14 day cool-off period (depending on where you got your phone) you probably wont be able to change your tarrif. Sadly o2 customers havent been allowed to change tarrif since March 2012 (?), in the way that we used to be able to.

All the details should be in your contract.
