Why no contract prices for Iphonew 6 for Business customers O2 !

Anonymous

As a business customer with 2 companies i am involved in both on O2, one with 2 contracts and one with 27, i am cheesed off EVERY year when we are unable to pre-order and Iphone before launch day.

Non business customers can do it but all we get thrown is stupid Lease deals, you would be mad to lease a phone, if you lose it, damage it or it suffers any noticable wear then you will end up paying for it, even O2 say you should insure it and get a case, so I have to pay more for insurance as well as a much higher price for the phone each month and never own it. A second hand Iphone is worth a fortune why would I want to pay for it for 12 months then send it back when I could sell it on Ebay.

I was PROMISED I would never get a worse deal than any other customer, thats was why we left Vodafone for O2, if a non business customer can pre-order and have one launch day then why can business customers ?
I am getting a worse deal O2 or was, once I can actually get through to get my PAC code I am off to Vodafone, EE or Three, all of which are offering prices and pre-orders for business.

Tried to get a PAC code and was on hold for over 25 minutes, guess loads of others must feel the same if the queue is that big.

Only way i can get one on launch day will be to go to a shop and queue up, we are a business, my time is £120 per hour do you really think business peope have time to go and queue outside a shop ?. when i have done it usually ends with a problem because its a business contract, last time i had to threaten to go to the press as i had phoned twice to check i could do it in store only to be told i coudl not after standing outside for 3 hours.

Guess O2 just dont want business customers, well Vodafone certainly do.

Hi

I think we tend to sometimes forget the plight of the business customer. I agree you should be able to pre order.

Pi assume the lines are overwhelmed with people trying to clarify their pre order details ref the rumours of handsets not being available on the 19th Sep. 😞

Ref a PAC code ; Live Chat can supply this too if the phone lines are busy. http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

I have to agree that it does seem to be a strange policy for business customers.
We recently leased our phones at work but have now dropped that contract to sim only and buy our handsets outright.

Yes but why do I need to go online and live chat, when are communication companies going to realise you sell phones so we might just want to speak to someone on a phone not online.

Try showing someone your cheesed off online ?!

25 minutes, even the O2 cusotmer care guy gave up waiting to put me thorugh and just put me in the queue, so its ok to waste my time but not his ?!

Where is the support for business customers, Vodafone was 1000% better when I was with them and i only had 2 phones then.

Appreciate what your saying ~ just trying to give you an alternative avenue to complete what your wanting to do by arranging a PAC code.

I assume you are calling business support directly on 8002?

Yep, asked why O2 were not giving prices for contracts on business, they obviously have no idea and have just been told to sell leases and have no idea of the pro's and cons of a lease having been used ot selling phone son contract mostly.

As phone is not out of contract asked for a non contract tariff and got some rubbish about price of the handset having some bearing on the tariff, what you mean the handset that now had nothing to do with O2 as its mine and all paid for ?!.

Finally gave up on that one and asked for PAC code and they cant give it to you, no you have to go to antoher department who will say they can help me and then spen dages with them trying to do something they obviously cant i.e give me a price for a Iphone 6 on Contract on business.

O2 you really got to look at where your going, no IPADS on contract until this year (Vodafone beein doing them for over 2 years), no WIFI dongle until earlier this year (Vodafone been doing them for over 3 years as have all the others, I actually had to get one from Three! another contract you missed out on), the Iphone 6+ appears to not even been on the lease website just the 6 prices unless I am missing it.

Just worked out we have in our two contracts and customers where we manage their phones and mobile data for them contracts worth some £8k+ a month and you just lost the lot, I cant move ot Vodafone and leave my customers on O2, if something goes wrong and mine is working fine they will ask why they are not with me on Vodafone.

Just called again and again a queue to cancel, apparently its a 'VERY BUSY DEPARTMENT', I asked for the person on the phone to hold until they answer so O2 can waste their reps time like i am wasting mine, amazingly they dont want to do that. 20 minutes so far and still not through to rententions but amazingly the person I am speaking to can SELL me a new phone.

Now if cancellations is that busy does that not say something ?
If my cancellations line was overloaded to the tune of 25+ minute waits I would be one worried person.
Its called retentions, well after this shambles ot get through, you could come and gold plate my phone and i would still tell you where to stick your contract so dont bother O2 just give me a PAC CODE PLEASE.

No, i wanted to speak to someone on the PHONE !

I wanted to also know how we get PAC codes on mass rather than having to call and go through each one as our customers are all on different accounts with different numbers of phones.

To get this PAC code by calling has taken 1.08.06 that is a JOKE !

I am just speakig to the Chairmans office about it and getting together a list of all the contracts we will be cancelling, i can only vote with my feet but luckily that a big pair of feet with contracts over £96k a year.

Needless to say Vodafone are treating me a little better.
