Why is the 36 month cost of a OnePlus 6T £1579 when the Guardian review says it costs £500?

@Sylvia That may be the inclusive cost of a Refresh contract, which also includes the air time. You can probably buy the phone for less elsewhere, and then just get a sim only contract with the tariff you need.

£529 if you buy direct from OnePlus.

If you look on the O2 Shop page, the phone is advertised at a pre-order price of 20GB for the price of 15GB at a monthly cost of £42.75 per month and £40 up front which works out as the £1579 price the OP quoted. It's an inclusive price as I said in my first reply, and would probably be cheaper to get elsewhere with a sim only contract if they aren't interested in Refresh.
