It's a truly frustrating time to get through to customer service with the iphone launch and busy weekends are normal.

It will get back to normal once all the iPhones are delivered and people stop calling up to chase their orders.....

I've been trying to phone to cancel my contract for 2 days!!!!!!!.  Called 202, 03448 090 202 and tried live chat.  I will be driving to the shop today because i want to cancel and im sick of having the phone cut off on me and i cannot do it from my O2 account. I've made over 43 calls in the last 2 days trying to ask O2 to cancel.  Live chat just gave me the 03448 number and told me that was a direct line to cancellations.

You can't cancel in store but they may allow you to use their phone to call CS.

If your wanting to take your mobile number to another Network then use Live Chat to obtain the code. When this is used within 30 days by the new network your O2 contract is auto cancelled. NathanG if I were you i'd contact CS from the comfort of your own home as in store all they'll do is shove a phone at you to call the same people you'd call from your own mobile. The stores are pretty pointless unless you want a phone there and then or you want to be force fed sales patter about phones you don't want and want to be upsold.

If you want a PAC you'll have to call through to retentions anyway....
