This automatic so called 'Volt' increase is complete rubbish, I was also offered and had confirmation from Virgin that I would receive unlimited data for £20 pmth. Only to be advised at a later date that I would need to wait 14 days after my Virgin Broadband installation to automatically move from 250gb to Unlimited. Its been almost a month now and still nothing has changed despite countless calls with both Virgin and o2. Neither o2 nor Virgin will take any ownership for the fact that they are mis-selling customers and not providing what they have agreed/as per the Virgin media contract. I wish I'd stayed with Vodafone...never again will I use Virgin or o2. Useless, been cut off at least 10 times in the past few days and despite promises from both sides, no one ever returns your calls. Very unprofessional. Avoid Avoid Avoid!! ABSOLUTE COWBOYS! (no offence intended to real Cowboys)

Lot's of us here on Volt who have had automatic increases, so it's not a con.

Problem is you have to deal with each company separately if things go wrong. Virgin for your speed boost and O2 for your data increase

Check your bills and make sure the address on both is EXACTLY the same before calling

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
