Vodafone sure signal ... Orange UMA ... 02......????

When will 02 offer a signal booster device as the other makes are doing so.
I dont want to leave 02 but have my pac code off them as lack of signal in my area is no good.

should say i have been with them well over 5 years ans canr fault them bar the signal in my house

They're trialling them again, but no idea when or if they'll launch them.

I think you need to be aware that these sound like good ideas, but come with their own problems.
I've just been in a thread on another forum, where Orange customers are getting worked up because the UMA service wasn't working properly over the weekend.
I'd bet good money that if O2 introduced something, the forum would be full of posts about how 'rubbish' it is!

I have met UMA ona friends blackberry on Orange adn thsi facility was material in my choice of handset. we have poor very variable signal at home and regularly get delayed text messages adn ansaphone alerts so UMA woudl be excellent.
I hope the O2 folk actually read this forum and can respond to the issues raised. in my experience teh tarrifs across teh networks are all very similar so it is service (and lazyness) that affect choices.

O2 may release a signal booster as they are trialling them again. Trial began again towards the end of last year.
