I notice that the article says that Vodafone are doing this with "inclusive roaming in select plans". Maybe not as magnanimous as it seems. Looks like O2 will squeeze every last penny they can out of their customers until they're forced to offer it next year. Makes me very glad to be a Three customer.

The roaming Tariffs are dearer tho.
Example
£17 for 5gb data unl mins SMS no roaming
£18 for roaming tariff. 2gb uk data, unl mins SMS uk and Eu and 500mb roaming data.
So your not getting it for free, your being charged for it. Remember nothing is for free
