Personally I don't see why the networks can't do this now and worldwide, not just Europe.

I notice that the article says that Vodafone are doing this with "inclusive roaming in select plans". Maybe not as magnanimous as it seems. Looks like O2 will squeeze every last penny they can out of their customers until they're forced to offer it next year. Makes me very glad to be a Three customer.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Not too surprising to me.
My Sfr sim is Voda's French network.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

The roaming Tariffs are dearer tho.

Example

£17 for 5gb data unl mins SMS no roaming

£18 for roaming tariff. 2gb uk data, unl mins SMS uk and Eu and 500mb roaming data.

So your not getting it for free,  your being charged for it. Remember nothing is for free

Need Help, Just ask. We are one big Family here in the o2 Forum.
Use iPhone XS Max dual sim, SE, Honor 10, IPad Pro 11, Apple Watch 4 LTE, 100+ Mpbs Barrier and a Record Player.
