So I have just bought a new P20 on O2 after explicitly asking Carphone Warehouse whether VoWiFi is supported. (I know it is as my wife has exactly the same handset model but on EE) CPW stated that " yes it is supported".

I activate VoWiFi and VoLTE on the network level with O2 but the button to activate it on my P20 handset is non existent.

It turns out The P20 is not actually supported on O2 for VoWiFi/VoLTE! I am so annoyed as I can't use this at home now. Like millions of others I have a modern house with no signal indoors.

Come on O2 please get your act together and enable the Huawei range. After all they have the 2nd largest market share!

I expected better from you.

@SJG007

CPW operate a 14 day change of mind policy as indicated by @jonsie

If the phone isn't meeting your needs then you do have the option to change it

Go back to CPW as soon as possible.

There’s no cooling off period with CPW if you upgraded on the same network though. That’s only for new contracts so check their T&C’s.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:

Crazy isn't it? The other networks support this feature on the P20 and P20 Pro. It's a flagship model and O2 have sold a lot of them on their network so you'd think they would have this feature working.

Come in O2 pull your finger out!!

I totally agree, just got my lovely new Huawei P20 only to find I cannot enable wifi calling on it. Had it on my old phone with Vodafone, wish I'd just kept it!
