The good old comments section looks like it will be interesting

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

The PaybyBank thing is actually something I avoid, as no S75 cover, no Direct Debit guarantee scheme... It does save you using card details...

Trustly doesnt save bank details, but be careful if setting it up a a monthly option..

Its another payment option, but one that confuses a lot of people..

This is not customer services and we dont have access to your account
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

@Enlli

So if you already have a direct debit set up with your own bank, will anything change?

PS I pay for an O2 sim only contract. Thats all.

@Cleoriff I have no idea, other than to think if O2 and Virgin change things there is a good chance they will screw it up!

I've a DD with O2 and one with Virgin. Both contracts run out April so whether I stay past then is uncertain

So it's a wait and see arrangement then!!

Lets hope people don't have an impacted credit rating if they do mess it up!!

It wont affect direct debits and it wont affect credit ratings either, as its just another payment option like debit cards...

I know of a few organisations that use all 3 methods nowadays..
