Having just checked my latest bill I find the mydonation to children in need has been included in the VAT calculation, is this correct? Has the government found yet another way to tax people? Be interesting to find out what you all think.

No it shouldn’t be. I can’t remember exactly but I think mine shows the cost less vat then that is rolled into the total bill for the vat element.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Certainly shouldn’t be and if you think you have been charged VAT on your donations to CiN you should contact O2 customer services
In 2018 my donation to CiN was made directly but I’m tempted to check my EE bill for 2017 now to make sure I’ve not been overcharged
