I have paid off my phone plan in order to upgrade and I want to give my sister my old phone, however she has a pay as you go sim, will the phone just accept the sim or are there steps for that to work?

@Charl96
Yes it will, as long as both old phone and new phone take the same size sim, if not you can order a new sim by contacting o2 customer services.
If you call 4445, when it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.when it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.

It will work fine if she's on O2.
If not O2 and if your phone is locked, you will need to unlock it for her Guide: Unlocking an O2 phone to use a different SIM card
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
