For O2 customers on low price tariffs it's quite steep

Same on the VM side those on basic cheap deals get stiffed at 12%, those on the Volt packages its 4.5% same on o2... for me it makes no difference really as we get 25% thanks to my employers

The same old story. Once a regulator of any description says they are going to simply things the customer ends up the loser

Just recieved an email from o2 about this. Everyone because of this has the right to cancel their airtime agreement within 30 days. Lets see how compliant o2 are at doing this based on previous ignorance. This could save me alot of money

O2 has confirmed to ISPreview that they’re also emailing existing mobile customers to forcibly move them to the new pricing policy, albeit with a right to exit their contract as a result. This is as opposed to the usual approach, where such changes only occur for new customers or via natural re-contracting at the end of a contract term. We don’t think VMO2 are going to win too many adoring fans with this one

I will be calling o2 tomorrow to cancel several airtime agreements. No doubt they will say the device plan has to be paid in full to do that which it clearly states that it doesnt. I will report back
