I'm curious as to when 2G will shut down in the UK?

I've noticed that no mobile operators in Australia where my Mum lives has a 2G service now. The last one to shut down was in 2017. Other countries have at least issued some deadlines some of them being this year.

I don't seem to have heard anything about this from any UK operator.

Anyone know anything about this?

vodafone say their 2g network will not be shut down until 2025 but other networks may shut down 2g before them.
3g networks will be shut down shortly after 5g has been fully rolled out.

I don't think they will take 2g away as some phones rely on it still
