I'm travelling to Peru which is one of 02 eligible countries for the 02 Incluive zone bolt-on. Has anyone used this? My questions are:
1. What is the quality of the coverage/signal? I will want to use Google maps a lot.
2. To Use this bolt on I'd have to increase my data allowance to 4GB. Is this the best way to do it or should I stay with my lower data allowance and just get the £4.99/day data bolt on.

@Bobbiejac You don't need data to use Google Maps. Here's a guide to show you how to use Maps offline: https://www.androidpit.com/use-your-google-maps-offline

I don't think anyone has reported data speeds in Peru so it's a matter of checking when you get there. You can download maps before you go and then you can use them offline.

Hi @Bobbiejac
O2 travel Inclusive is only available on certain tariffs see here https://www.o2.co.uk/international/travel-inclusive-zone
Unfortunately those who travelled using this tariff have had a lot of problems. Check and see if you have the correct tariff first.
If you are only eligible for O2 Travel then all the info you need is here...
https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/international/using-phone-abroad
O2 Travel will cost you £4.99 per day. That’ll get you the 120 minutes, 120 texts and data you need, when roaming in all of our O2 Travel destinations.
Best bet is to use WiFi where possible. You wont be charged on the days you don't use O2 travel a long as you turn data roaming and mobile data off.
