Just for the record, Chronograph is derived from the old greek word for time "cronos" and "graph" from Latin. Essentially meaning time writer.
So Chronograph in a sense is just a fancy name for a Stop Watch. The Tissot I have has a 30 minute stopwatch facility with 1/10th second intervals.
That is all, you may all continue in you disparaging ways...

Thank you for those words of wisdom @anticpated I now feel educated...
However for all of that ....I just prefer a watch to actually just tell the time... How innovative am I...??
