Swapping sims

Can I swap my pay as you go number onto an old monthly contract sim which is no longer in use.  I am current using iPhone 4s and want to keep my pay as you go number on iPhone 6.  I have the old sim that was being used with iPhone 6 and that number has been swapped to another sim ?

If the contract sim is still active, yes, but otherwise you will need to get hold of a new sim card, but yes, the number can be transferred.
Best to call into an o2 shop as it's the quickest way but you can do online if the sim is still active http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk/

No that sim would have been deactivated now. You need to get a new sim from customer service or from instore.

Just seen your edit so you will need to get a new sim - pop into any o2 shop or call CS http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus
