Anyone else on an iPhone 15 series who’ve updated to iOS 18 noticed that they have a toggle for Stand Alone in their network setting under Voice & Data?
Mine’s greyed out but wasn’t there before iOS was released at 18:00 today.

Once enabled you can go on a hunt. More chance of catching a mammoth though

I am not sure if this list is still up to date, but O2 5G Standalone was initially released in fourteen cities :-
O2 Launch Faster 5G Standalone UK Mobile Network in 14 Cities - ISPreview UK
Please let us know if you find it ! 👍

Another pointless post, I think me @Enlli and @garetc are techy enough to know where 5G SA is as well as what is needed to use the service without a link to an article we all knew about...;
At least unlike EE all you need is a R15 SIM card and a compatible handset...

There’s a bit of SA on the East Lancs going towards Manchester.
Tested it on my S24U, performance is good, it’ll be great when they roll it out further.

There's quite a bit in Leeds, but that is not surprising as one of o2's main campus's is in Leeds, its the only reason to go to the office 🤣🤣
Might have to have a trip to York or Lincoln as well....

Hi,
how did you enable Standalone?
this is greyed out for me.
I was on work O2 & sent me a new sim but not fixed it.
5G standalone works with EE & VF.
Thanks
