Lol to all the replies. I like this easy going thread.
The only thing I'd point out is the new Z5 range doesn't have wireless charging. I didn't think of that. That would be a good addition. The Z3 had it but only if you bought the case to go with it (the charging plate that is). Until the Z3 range they had magnetic charging and magnetic wireless charging too. My Z3+ and Z4 tablet don't. Thats been dropped for more minimal sleekness.
Sony appear to have given up on wireless chargin for the time being.
I stand by the reason that they've increased the depth on the Z5 for the heat dissipation. The weight - ? maybe the new camera tech? I'm basing that on just the standard Z5. They've slightly decreased not increased the size of the battery on the standard model.
My black Z3+ is a slippery beast but I use it in a mirread of thin gel skin, slip and flip style window covers. I couldn't use it naked. It's a solid beast, but its a slippery one.
I don't feel like upgrading for a while. I managed to drag myself off iPhones after six years last year. Hurray! And although I love my current Z3+, my last phone - a Motorola Moto X first gen was one of the best trouble free phones I've ever had. I couldn't say that about my current one, but it's getting better. It's a grower as they say.

To be honest I personally dislike 'thin sleek phones' I think they are more prone to damage as they are far less robust. I can't see the point of paying £600+ for something that looks good but you have to use it with such great care...

My feelings too. I prefer a phone to feel solid not fragile and delicate.
