Not sure if this is the right place for this topic.
I bought the Samsung Galaxy Apollo from carphonewarehouse last week and i have not been able to see picture messages or access the internet. Does anyone know what the APS settings need to be for me to access these?
Did speak to 02 customer service who said they didnt have the settings for this phone. Been to carphone warehouse who have tried to help but ended up telling me 02 havent released the settings yet.
Thanks
Sharon

If you look at the Mobile Guide on the O2 website, you can select an Android handset and then click Settings. You'll see manual instructions due entering the settings. Its very straightforward.

Looks like I was lucky. I had a Sony Ericsson k700i (still have) and had the internet settings sent to that some time ago successfully. BTW I should say the SIM I was sold 2 1/2 years ago by o2 was actually an iPhone SIM. I had the internet services switched off back then. As mentioned I subsequently got the internet settings sent and I had the use of internet services on the Sony, though I could not access any sites like Facebook as it required a secure signin, which the old phone couldn't deal with. Hence.....
....About a month ago I bought a Samsung Galaxy Apollo from Carphone Warehouse and had then slip the SIM in for me. By the time I got home with it I was able to use all the services. Not tried to send an MMS. Have access to gmail, and it's easy to set up other email accounts and of course all internet services like Facebook, Twitter, BBC News with the Android apps.

Is that true? Normally Android handsets are unable to receive settings by text.
