Scammed by O2. Discovered I've been paying for a SIM/NUMBER I've never had or used. Spent 3.5 hours on the phone and 2 in an O2 shop.... No one can help without the SIM, and they cannot provide a replacement even after showing ID Etc.

Now told no one can help, come back when I have 2 hours free?

Trying to pay £7, can't do that either and being charged £6 for late payment.

SCAM artists.

Have you moved from Virgin?

Wonder if you have been put on an Oomph or Volt package but never received the SIM

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Virgin have certainly left all their mobile customers completely in the dark and their awful cross-selling broadband services would have left them rubbing their hands with glee

Have you asked Virgin if they can supply details of the sim card that should have been sent to you either by them or by O2

Unfortunately it isn't something anyone on the community can help you with

One of them should be able to trace it against your name and address if can get off their ass and be bothered

To be fair, if on Oomph then it was all explained and the customer (like I had to) had to setup a direct debit, for any overages, so this whole i was mis sold is a load of cobblers, as it was delivered activated, just people put them in drawers and forgot to cancel them, or didnt remember they had a chargeable element as well.
And when it was moved over to o2 a credit was (should have) applied to the BB Bill to cover the £7.86 per month charge...

The latest cobblers from VM to get people to get a o2 sim with a Volt contract is just poor selling by the teleperformance call centre in the Philippines to get that extra bit of commission as is nothing new by Virgin
