If the op has a 6s plus I'm guessing upgrading had already been done. ...

I knew all these phones with the number 6 would get confusing.... so I have reread the first post...I am sure the op says currently they have the iPhone 6 plus. I thought that was last years model? This years is the 6S surely? (so they could take the option to upgrade to this years 6S?).....
Oh my head hurts working that out.....
