Solved: Receiving calls from 0800 064 9955

I'm receiving calls from 0800 064 9955 and they are telling me they are calling in behalf of O2 to requesting me information. I'm not very confident with this kind of calls so, I usually hang-up them. Are this phone from O2?

You are under no obligation to respond to calls like this. Many phones have built in number blockers, but if yours doesn't there are many free apps you can download.

@Bambino Most of the comments on your link are saying they are scammers. One said they told him they were O2 then proceeded to ask for his bank details...:smileysad:

Yep @Cleoriff, and the OP and anyone else who receives calls from that number would be well advised to hang up and then block the number. It always puzzles me why Ofcom allows those companies to operate in the UK.

Just hang up and ignore or block any further calls from that number.
