O2 have randomly shut down my network, even though I just paid to upgrade and I have been a customer for 10 years.
mY NEW DEVISE AND ACCESSORIES ARE DUE TO ARRIVE TOMORROW BUT i WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING THEM AND WILL BE GLAD TO WALK AWAY FROM SUCH AN APPAULING SERVICE PROVIDER

You'll need to call O2.

Advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:
When you call, you will be asked for the reason you are calling,
Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to an advisor.
Press Upgrade, Lost/Stolen or Fraud if you have to.
8am is the best time to call

Interesting that you are saying that, o2 have just confirmed they do shut it down when it goes from an android to iphone, so yes they do do it. Why an earth would I randomly say that... What they failed to do at the point of sale/ upgrade was be open about it and advise that is what they do. And given that the phone doesnt arrive until tomorrow to switch it off so early without telling me was unfare, I was unable to work because of it.. The o2 call lady after 4 hours of deflecting from other call handlers and online chats, was own it, she was amazing and explained what they do do, and also advised this is not the first time this issue has arisen, she gave me back my sanity. All I ever ask is honesty and transparency. All resolved, honesty being the key in this!
