Morning Everyone,
A week ago I was waken up by 10 private number calls at 2am, to few of them I have answered and did not receive any speech, instead people on the other side decided to play aliens with me and made some sounds. I spoke to O2 advisor, he put my case to 'some kind of O2 team' which deals with it and they gave me a call back, saying they can't tell me the number of the caller, because it's some private bull**bleep**, moreover, which just annoyed me - they CAN'T BLOCK this number.
So I have been woken up again this night.
What should I do? Change my number? I don't believe calling that 'team dealing with these enquaries' won't do their job. It's not the first bad experience I am having with O2. Any suggestions? Cheers.

Okay, I have no experience of this phone but from what i can see there are no sound profiles on it other than "Sounds on" or "Silent Mode"!!
To put your phone into Silent Mode: http://www.nokia.com/gb-en/support/product/lumia520/userguidance/?action=singleTopic&topic=GUID-9585...
So...what happens if you put the phone into Silent Mode? Does the alarm still sound?

It's possible the noises are faxes that are being sent and someone has dialed wrongly.
Some fax machines will continue to dial.
You can register on the TPS site but it may not help !
http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/mobile/index.html
One option is to change your number as you have suggested.

Thanks for the link, will take a look.
It is not a fax machine, because when I was talking to the person calling it replied to me 'something' that sounds like human speech, but because of noices in the background and voice deformation.

Yes it is vital, because I have an alarm on it. Unfortunatelly, ( what is also bs ), when my nokia is turned off, it won't play the alarm.

Surely even Nokia have the ability to turn on a Silent profile on the phone, but will still allow the alarm to sound?
What model of Nokia do you have?
O2 are unable to block numbers. I don't believe any cellular operators do.

It's Nokia Lumia 520.
Weir, I thought most of the operators could do it for you. Might be it's only in UK like that?
