Phone scam

Hi all. I had a call from a 'no caller id' number earlier today - they called themselves Air Direct. They knew all my details - except the bank/ address type of stuff. They were trying to act as a
Go between for O2 to get me to sign up to a new tariff - heavily discounted as I 'am a loyal customer'. Not sure how they got the details they did have but even so, when I challenged the guy, he got quite spiky (he was trying to get me to continue on the cheaper tariff and have to buy a new phone outright) I told him where to get off and contacted O2 to enquire. Was advised that all marketing will be done by O2 and as such, this was a scam. I guess the moral of the story is don't answer numbers you don't get displayed. Anyway, I didn't give him any more than abuse (justifiably so).

Take care
