Hi everyone,
First things first, I apologise if this question has been asked before.
Say my bill is £70, if I just pay the line rental and settle the outstanding amount at a later date, can o2 legally cut me off? The extra charges would be at my expense and not o2's so I was thinking that by paying my line rental I technically haven't made the contract null and void.... or have I?
Thanks in advance for a reply,
Richard.

Only o2 could give you the answer but as you are billed after usage for extras and do not pay them O2 may well bar you account as it is in arrears .
But ring 202 and ask the question.

You can't rewrite the contract to suit yourself like that, if you don't pay your service may well be suspended.
If you can't pay the full amount you need to let them know as soon as you can.

You cannot discuss account issues by email as it's not secure.

You can but don't complain if all your personal and account details find there way onto the internet for public consumption.
Email is not and never has been a secure method of transmitting passwords or anything else, and if O2 is allowing you to pass security by email then it should be stopped.
Try emailing your bank and asking for a direct debit to be set up on your account.
They will not do it.
