Yes @viridis

I read about ARM

but until your information ~ didn't realise how important they are.

I have read that the components can be replaced and a techy

would no doubt do that ~

Hearing Huawei have been stripped of their licence by the SD alliance.
No longer allowed to produce SD cards

Does that apply to dual purpose slots @viridis (SIM/SD slots)?

Anything for use by SD cards.
Not reported fully yet, but it's what can be deduced by looking at the SD alliance approved vendor list.
Huawei used to be on it, now... Not so much

So the 2nd SIM slot becomes just that and not dual purpose.
Would agree if they have disappeared off the list it does suggest something...

Devices In market will retain use of both
