Overcharged international data in Bosnia when paying 02 travel and staying in Croatia

Anonymous
Not applicable

i have been unfairly charged for using data in Bosnia 3 days when I was in Croatia paying for 02 travel. 02 says that charges are valid and refusing to take charges off my bill. I have been a loyal customer for over ten years and I never had any complaint before. Now I feel disappointed, 02 is not caring about its clients anymore.

02 chat service mentioned that the reason was because network was connected to a different satellite or whatever that means, it is not my fault that network connects to a different thing when visiting a country that is included in 02 travel.

Whenever there is a risk of accidental roaming on a non included network, you should manually lock your phone onto the network you want to use.
As Bambino says, this usually happens close to borders.
What you can do is actually call cs on 202 as they do have the authority to make a goodwill gesture on your account, whereas live chat don't have this authority.

O2 can't control which network your phone seeks. Were you anywhere near a Bosnian border?

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

I was in Cavtat, not far from border. They should listen to their customers, it's not fair for a customer to pay for something they cannot control. I believe that is not my fault anyway, especially when I was charge as well for 02 travel in Croatia. I was charged for both things the same days
