Parts of our network aren't working in various areas of Northern England and Scotland, including Cumbria, Glasgow and Edinburgh. This means your service might come and go until we fix the problem. Ongoing

Thanks for the heads up. I am in the south of Edinburgh and have been in East Lothian as well today - so far full bars with no interruptions. slight_smile

Quick work on o2's part.

NOT so fast guys, I've been getting this fault all week where myself and my wifes phone has been getting a message saying "no network coverage" in different parts of Glasgow.
I phoned o2 but needless to say they weren't much help saying it must be your sim card or your phones faulty but how can 2 simcards or phones go at the same time?
Come on o2 you know the problem is with you so get your finger out and get it sorted.

They're just going through fault finding. Personally, I would follow their advice and see the process through.
You could also find out if anyone else is affected, and pass on full details of locations etc.
