Hello, I've just recently discovered that there is a cheeper tariff giving the same service 40% cheaper. I'm on unlimited at £60.00 per month and the new tariff for the same service is £36.00. I upgraded 12 months ago with 12 months left on my contract. I've spoken with customer service and they say there is nothing they can do, to say they were unhelpful would be an understatement. To top it all I'm told that there is an "Inflation Increase" in Feb.
Customer loyalty??? It's a one way street isn't it?
Is there anything I can do??

Nothing apart from buying out the rest of the old contract. And starting a new one.
You signed a Minimum term contract and they will hold you to that.

This is why I would never sign up or be tied into a 2 year contract. No way out unfortunately and it's a matter of seeing out your contract.

Standard business practice, prices will change over time sometimes up and sometimes down, if you are in a contract you have to live with it I'm afraid.

Something is missing here. The OP says he's on unlimited and upgraded halfway through. I'm sure that he's either "on the free iphone and return it after 12 months for a new one package" or that the midterm upgrade for an iphone specifically states that you waive certain rights untill the end of the full term.
Either way, loyalty has nothing to do with it.
