i have received a text for o2 telling me twice what my OTAC is ...i didnt ask for this ...Any cause for concern?

Hi @ntsr Are you on a business contract? OTAC is a One Time Activation Code  usually associated with business contracts.

Have you had a new phone or asked for calls to be forwarded to another device?

Either way you can check it out with customer services https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

Or if you have a business contract then give them a call on 8002

You get sent a code each time you try and do something on your account which requires you to verify your identity, such as changing your account preferences, upgrading your phone, signing in to certain areas of your MyO2 etc.
If you haven’t attempted anything on your account you need to call customer service to report it as someone could be trying to log in to your account without your knowledge.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
