ON HOLD for 95 minutes

as the title says, ive just been hold for over an hour and a half. I didn't want to give up but I actually couldn't listen to your terrible choice of music any more. each song 7 times each is quite enough thanks.
I originally planned to arrange an upgrade but now all I actually want is a pac code. I 'spoke' to one of your online advisors who I asked to arrange a 'call back' for me. I won't be holding my breath.

for a company (Telefonica) that made a net profit of over 5 BILLION euro's last year (2011) I'd have thought you would have enough change in the float to employ one or two of our (the UK's) two and a half million unemployed; you know, if it's that much of a struggle to man a few phones. But what do I know? maybe you've got a bout of gastroenteritis going round the office and everyones sitting on porcelain; or maybe your board members kids just really cant live without them ponies.

kindest regards

incredibly bemused (ex) O2 customer.

Well I would like not to have to use my PAC code to go to vaodfone but since o2 decided to not even bother to inform me that the pre order was open (after registeing yesterday morning), let alone not accept my online upgrade request when I discovered it was open forcing me to waste 2 hours of my line on a call to customer services (2 hours that I will never get back) and listen to them tell me I had to call them back on the 21st and they may be able to upgrade my iphone and that all the pre order iphones wouldn't arrive on the 21st and they had run out anyway, well, I would like you to get me an iPhone on the 21st and an apology from o2.

I won't hold my breath.

Sorry, but I won't be able to get you an iPhone. You will have to go through the appropriate channels for that (MyO2, shop, etc). However, I do really feel for you and can understand your frustration. So I'm sorry things haven't been working out as they should have.

I'm sure vodafone will be able to give me an iphone on the 21st. o2 really need to address this shambles if they want any hope of keeping customers.

Seriously, why is it so important to have one on the 21st?

Well its important for me as my phone has been broken for a couple of weeks now. Apparently iphone 5 out of stock for existing customers but not for new customers. Looks like you have to leave O2 if you want to get one without waiting.

I'm interested in why people are so enamoured by trying to pre-order a device that is so important to get it the moment its "available" (and certain reports on the web are saying that there is a limited amount of units out there and further shipments are another 2 weeks).

I'd like to understand why people are so desperate to take time out of their lives on the chance they may get it and then come onto the forum to basically rant about their experience. If it was a limited edition I'd understand but its not and quite likely to encounter issues on the first shipment.

There will be a limited ammount initially so it was important for o2 not to skrew over their existing customers but they have failed misserably here.

People wouldn't need to rant if they hadn't been prevented from getting this phone by o2 using various methods.

Its clear from the mutiple failings on o2's part that the company at is core couldn't care less about keeping customers. I would love to know the number of PAC codes that have been requested in the last couple of days over this discrase.
