I understand there is now no daily data limit but subject to fair usage. Does the data used come out if your UK monthly allowance? And could I turn my phone into a hotspot to tether my iPad to whilst you abroad? Thanks In advance

Hi
You would be better off using available wifi as opposed to tethering / hotspot uses a larger amount of data faster due to the rich content an iPad can view.
https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/international/using-phone-in-europe Explains it's £1.99 per day to use data.

I used this during my summer holiday in Spain. I could only use 100mb and after that the speed was capped. I'm not sure if it has changed or not?

Hi
Unfortunatley it still is slowed down. 😔

When in Spain I only ever use my phone or tablet over WiFi. It is virtually everywhere nowadays (in my area) so causes no problem whatsoever...

and when they say "traffic management steps apply" they mean it is unusable. Good job I had wifi in the local spots.

Was considering moving from T-Mobile to o2 specifically for this o2 Travel policy.
I still assume tethering can be done?

Tethering isn't allowed on Pay and Go, contract is fine.
