DO NOT USE O2 RECYCLE
I sent my Samsung galaxy S7 to O2 recycle after being offered £85!
After receiving my old phone they are now saying that the offer has been reduced to £17 due to screen burn!
Well O2 recycle I have pictures proving that this phone was in perfect condition!
They are now saying that they are sending me the phone back but looking through this forum I will not hold my breath while waiting for it!
CON ARTISTS is the common theme I get from the posts on here!!

The feeling within the Community forum is much the same, @Aldag.

Go to somewhere like CEX, where you can deal with someone face-to-face - you are bound to get a better deal!

Also screen burn is the excuse O2 recycle seem to be using for every phone. It used to be water damage...but now they are moving with the times (or so it appears) Smiley Mad

As advised go to CEX https://uk.webuy.com/

Or Mazuma Mobile https://www.mazumamobile.com/

You will get a much better price for your mobile @Aldag

@Aldag O2 Recycle are useless. Unfortunately, you should have searched the forum before you sent it off. Would have saved yourself some time and aggravation. Hope you get it back in decent condition so you can get a better offer elsewhere.

Thanks for the comments & advice on taking the phone to CEX!

After the phone was returned to me I did take the phone to my local CEX shop & they found nothing at all wrong with the phone & gave me £114.20 (would have been £118 had I taken the charger aswell).

So well done O2 recycle you lost O2 a customer as I have now switched to EE!!

@Aldag

So to recap. O2 recycle offered you £17.00 with their revised offer...and CEX gave you £114?

Doesn't that just say it all?!

Well done for taking advice offered here. I'm so pleased for you :wink:
