O2 network gone down?

its down in newton abbot in devon aswell only seems to be iphones tho! nice of o2 to let anyone no i thought it was my phone that had messed up!!!

Just had this on Twitter O2: There's an issue affecting our service in some of the UK. Sorry - our engineers are investigating and we'll update you when we can.

Network was working ok earlier today but this evening it seems to be down in my area - checked with friends and family in the area and they all are down too - all on O2

just spoke to O2 customer service network is down and according t o them they have no idea when it will be back up..strange thing is i am set next to my wifes iphone and its fine, mines off....they assure me her's will go off as well in the next hour or two with no sign of any resolution....

This is getting ridiculous 02! My phone has had no service since one o'clock,but when I check my postcode 02 insist my network coverage is excellent,so your "status" checker is #### too.

My S3 has been showing emergency calls only since 1pm, my mates Iphone worsk fine.... what is going on?? Also, (apparently) just had coverage restored for about 3 minutes - phone said connected to O2 UK - but still couldn't call out.... I'm new to O2, is this normal?

Mine has been down a couple of hours also Im in Liverpool
