Hello guys. Apparently o2 is down. Got 2 phones, checked them both at 6am coz i couldn't send txts and when i restarted phone, no signal no nothing. did same on other.
Their status page for postcode checker says its fine..updated hourly but not for past 3 hours and the msg below is

2G and 3G Service Interuption
We have identified a connectivity issue on our network which has affected both 2G and 3G service in parts of East London, North London and Kent. Customers in these areas may be experiencing difficulty in making or receiving mobile calls, texts or using data. Our Engineering team are working on the problem as a priority in order to resume full service as soon as possible.
So dont worry too much...as long as it comes back. So...yep Im worried

10hours, still not fixed...think its more serious than we were told people 😞
Just a mini-update:
The status page has now changed (3rd time since 6am) and states:
"We've got a problem that means you can't make calls, use the internet, or send/get texts and emails in parts of East London, North London, east Sussex and Kent. Sorry, the post code check won't show this problem"
So that explains the weird postcode checker probs some had.
Where are you getting these updates from?
By the way. Im in Aveley, Essex and my phone is down too.

Iv been awake since 6am, so I personally saw the changes in update msgs and then the removal of the postcode checker service.

Not much to see but you know, atleast we were told theres a fault. Its something :robotwink:btw just noticed they updated page again to put back the postcode checker box, just remember before you get excited that it says your postcode is fine, it does mention above it that the postcode checker wont show this network failure...dunno why that is
I'm in essex and still having problems with my iphone!
Anyone know timeframes of when the network will be up again ?

11hours...still not up....no idea when. I imagine fireworks to celebrate in this part of east london when it is up
is it wrong that i feel slightly on edge that i can't get any phone signal
