I must admit that I am getting more spam calls to my mobile. As most of us know, when O2 'updated' My O2 section of the app and website....suddenly our contact preferences had been changed to ON as default. We changed the settings asap......and all seemed ok for a while. Mine are still set to off......and I am getting more spam calls. So I would agree...our info is being sold on.

Pretty sure this is still going on. I have two new numbers two SIMs, in one phone.
O2: got calls within a week from indians claiming to be from O2
Vodafone: Zero activity after 3 months of existing (use it for backup data coverage only),
Only O2 received calls with no one else having even been given the number.
