I decided to recycle my old Samsung Galaxy S21 5G Ultra, was quoted £118. Nothing was wrong with the phone, not a scratch, mark nothing.  I then get an email saying they are reducing the quote down to £23.60, saying it had "screen burn" which it didn't. I was informed that I had until th 25th to decide if I wished to accept the £23.60 or return the phone. This was on the 22nd of this month (October) I replied the same day and was informed that I would get a response within 24-48 hours. You can guess that I have had no such response....if they credit me with that measly amount and not return my phone...there will be hell to pay...

Similar story for every recycling company, and indeed not unusual..

You can always try and call them as 48hrs expires today if they contacted you on the 22nd, so maybe worth contacting them tomorrow..

Always better to sell on eBay or through the likes of CEX
