Under the DD Indemnity guarantee your bank can reverse the funds immediately.
Contact them and request it.

Hi @Slav

No it certainly isn't fair if this has occurred. I am not sure what else can be done to help though. It annoys me that it takes so long for O2 to refund money back into your account when they are so quick to take it out.

I could only suggest you ring them again and another advisor may be able to expedite this for you. Its a long shot but the only thing I can suggest sadly :slight_frown:

Also speak to your bank.

As the money has been taken in error, they may be able to reverse the transactions if the error can be verified.

If your bank charges you any fees then put that to customer services too. You may need to provide Bank Statements to show these charges.

Speak to a manager and demand that they expediate the payment. It can be done but you need to insist. As said, also speak to your bank. If you incur charges make a complaint and enclose a statement of the charges.

How to complain

Hi @Anonymous

This seems to me the easiest way to proceed and to get the funds back.

Here the link to their website: https://gocardless.com/direct-debit/guarantee/
