No doubt the Mods will remove this, after all it's not complimentary to O2. I mean, how dare I tell you to check your bills following O2's own admission that it has had some of it's customers over.

No doubt the Mods will claim that this is a made up story with no fact and to quote their well worn out phrase
" What we cannot accept are widespread, malicious or gratuitous criticisms of O2 as a company or a brand.'

I doubt very much that this would be removed, and it was only an issue with roaming, also O2 have said they've traced those affected and corrected their accounts.
At the time the article was published the number of people affected was 6.
Not too bad for a company with about 22 million customers.
When trying to cause embarassment you need to publish all the salient facts! :womanindifferent:

Even the title of the thread is wrong! The problem wasn't with charging, the problem was that the system was sending out the 'approaching the limit ' text (to a tiny number of people ) when only a few pence had been spent.

But O2 don't make mistakes with Data counting... they constantly tell us it's our fault or some background Ap using up vast amounts. Only 6... I very much doubt it.

The truth is, customers are regularly told that there is no data problem, they must have used it......check your phone, check your apps, it's you- not us. Clearly not the case.

I think maybe David is enjoying his one man crusade but is looking for more 'merry men' to join him.
Perhaps a bigger soap-box and a few more threads about the 'evils' of O2?

It hasn't affected me yet... however, I am disturbed by the sheer number of threads to be found on the O2 forum telling of how Data has been used up with in days by people who clearly know there way around an i Phone. With so many complaints, you'd think O2 and Apple would have sat down and thrashed out the problem. No lets see... why wouldn't they.....?
