No doubt the Mods will remove this, after all it's not complimentary to O2. I mean, how dare I tell you to check your bills following O2's own admission that it has had some of it's customers over.

No doubt the Mods will claim that this is a made up story with no fact and to quote their well worn out phrase
" What we cannot accept are widespread, malicious or gratuitous criticisms of O2 as a company or a brand.'

Well it's not because they charge for going over on data, cos they don't, so your barking up the wrong tree if that's your point
I also remember you getting your knickers in a twist when O2 scrapped the chargeable tethering bolt on and included it for free in the data package, which I found to be a very odd reaction. You started banging on about the unfairness of being forced to change to a new tariff to get free tethering, even though in the past it was not available at all to anyone but iPhone customers and when you had an iPhone it cost an extra tenner. Maybe you could research things a little before you start complaining? Just an idea.

Please find the post, I think you are confusing me with some one else. I have said that tethering should be part of the data package you have regardless of old contract or new one. Telling you how you use your paid for data is a no no. What next, you can download an iTune with it but not a Youtube video ?

No, I'm not. I don't know how you would expect them to back-engineer a capability that's not there into existing deals? That's the sort of thing I'm on about. You weren't happy that they introduced this feature, that anyone can get if they want to, you also want them to go back in a Tardis and add it to older tariffs :womanindifferent:
Any feature that is created or added can only apply from that point forward, the linear progression of time is not o2s fault.
And there you go with the assumptions again.

Similar problem here.
I had turned off all data roaming services, as I had done when I was in the USA earlier in the year using the same phone with the same Apps, but this time have been charged £16.
Given the following reason:
"If there's a drop in your Wi-Fi connection, your phone will
automatically switch to a data (3G, EDGE, GPRS) connection. This is the
reason, you've been charged for using the Internet on your bill. The
charges are correct and you're liable to pay."
I found that when WiFi dropped the phone lost its internet/data connectivity rather then use 3G, etc!
I doubt it is only 6.
