Just wondering what you guys are getting speed wise. My mobile can download files quicker than my PC these days, and its connected to fibre broadband.

Wonder if the speed is as good in city centre?

Area: KY11

Down: 59.90mbps

Up: 12.53mbps

No where near as quick down here - maybe a result of your population being 1/6th of my area.....

Lucky to get 20 down and up here to be honest and that's on a good day. Much better in Manchester as I'm on a fringe area here.

I'm getting a 4G signal at my home even although the coverage checker says poor to moderate 3G signals.

Download speed is 27mbps and upload is 3.08mbps

That's why it always pays to check coverage with actual usage (PAYG is recommended for testing) as the signal checkers are only computer generated estimates.

The last time I checked the o2 signal in my area was through a PAYG sim a few weeks ago and it was 0.02mbps download and 0.0mbps upload so they seem to really have got to work in my area!

Sounds like 4g is new in your area then.
It took a few weeks to update the service checker when we got 4g in our area.
