No signal from Manchester to Worcester!!!

Just drove from Manchester to Worcester without a phone signal anywhere. It's been 5 hours now. I have an iPhone 5 and I'm getting annoyed. Is the whole country out? An email from O2 would've been nice

It was county wide but only impacting some customers, not everyone. I would rather the got to sorting it than working out who to send emails to and (eventually) they updated via social media and on this site.
