No service for 4 days now!

Since late Sunday evening I have not been able to send/receive texts or calls! Apparently there’s a problem with a nearby phone mast. Customer services have not been at all helpful and I am at the end of my tether now. Is anyone else in here having the same issue?

All you can do is keep your eye on the status page. At least if they are aware of the problem it means they are working on resolving it. In the meantime if you are on contract then use TU over wifi at home.

They never give any repair timescales as there are too many variables to deal with.
They will always try and fix the issue as quickly as possible though.

hi, i've had no service since last thursday cos a mast signal is being blocked by something. The mast is about half a mile from my house. O2 text me yesterday the 11th and said i would be updated in 5 days or sooner if the problem was sorted to me that sounds like they are not interested, hopefully it's sorted or i jump ship to vodafone, they might even give me credit for the inconvenience. Come on sort it out.

Vodafone use the same mast as o2 so that will be out too if it’s a mast issue.
Expect a nominal 2 weeks for a full repair and yes, once fixed, you will most likely get a goodwill gesture if you ask politely.
