Come O2, PLEASE rectify. I too have no emails just messages saying my details are incorrect when clearly they ARE correct. I am NOT mistyping.
Please confirm they'll be up and running asap.

Hi all, I have just spoken with someone at O2 and was told that It's Sky that have done something to affect the emails. A priority case has been raised but only done today he said. Yes today!!!! Even though they have been down since yesterday. No time frame given when or if fixed.

I do find that strange. Yesterday O2 had 3 major issues. Forum unable to sign in...MyO2 had same login problems....and at exactly the same time O2 email experienced login issues....

That's complete BS, its not a SKY problem! I tried to get mail on 3g and get the same old:-

 

The mail server "pop.o2.co.uk" is not responding. Verify that you have entered the correct account info into mail settings.

 

Anyone know how to resolve this?

This at least is a constructive response from o2 to your enquiries - I just called them just now and the lady said there are no server issues, that the fact my emails won't load must just mean that my o2 email address has been disconnected due to the migration to Sky. I doubt that... Not when it's my main email address!

I spoke to someone at O2 yesterday and got a variety of answers! Think it depends who you speak to and how quickly they want to get you off the phone! Was told it could take 24 hrs to resolve. Had this issue too many times now but my contract doesn't end till next April! I'm def going to look elsewhere. Tired of this nonsense. Pity no one from O2 reads some of these posts.

I spent most of yesterday afternoon scratching my head as no email on my macbook and iphone, I have a SKY email address aswell and i am receiving emails from them so i know it wasnt an error on my part.  I think its quite fustrating that the only way I new there was an issue last night was through this forum site.  O2 get a move on and inform your customers

Agree with lottyplum, think it does depend who you talk to. The guy was nice enough but wasn't in yesterday he said so obv I took it with a pinch of salt, whats worrying for me is the length of time it's taking to restore the emails and also will they actually even be restored????

Over 24 hours with no email facility.
O2 continue to disappoint.
I wonder how much longer we will be kept waiting before this facility is restored....

if this carries on for to long i'll go back to BT. not to inform us prior to it becoming an issue is typical SKY/O2. only care about new customers
