Anybody had this OTA on a Nexus 4 yet?

O2, when can we expect this for the Nexus 4?

Thanks.

I flashed mine manually so I'm not sure if anything has been pushed out OTA yet. O2 won't be doing it though that's for sure, it will come directly from Google.

Thanks. I was hoping it would be straight from google and not rolled out by o2 but Im new to o2 and wasn't sure.

No sign of it yet and I'd rather not do it manually... Hence my question.

It will be the usual "batch" delivery... Could be weeks before it get round to everyone. Keep checking your system updates until you see some action http://www.theregister.co.uk/2013/02/13/android_422_for_nexus_devices/

O2 won't do anything over the air update wise. Therefore it's going to be the manual way for most people.

Did you use a zip package update or did you use Android ADB commands to update the LG Nexus 4?

Yes Google give you the update over the air. However this provides no backup route if you forget to do that. Also this wipe out any previous tweaks you made. CWM is probably the easiest way. I read the guide from from Google do for the adb commands although at least the bootloader and phone is ready to restore if something goes wrong.

i had the OTA (over the air) update the other day. if you havent had it. turn off wifi and keep it off for a while. turn your phone off and on. leave wifi off for another few hours. usually triggers it.

I've had this update just now with wi-fi on and I didn't have to dance around the garden either.

It just came automatically and took about two minutes to install, no hassle at all.
