Hi everyone,
Today and yesterday, we've made several usability improvements to the forums. We've also merged several inactive forum boards and implemented some brand new ones for you. Additionaly, we've replaced the old ranks by loads of brand new ones. These should allow you to keep leveling. You will climb the 'levels' by contributing to the community in various ways (simply posting, providing and accepting solutions, giving and receiving kudos', etc.).
I really hope you'll enjoy the changes.
Let me know what you think!
Leonard

I lost around 1000 posts in the change over so have to start at the level of supporter.
Quite frankly there are just too many levels, never seen that on any other board

Thanks for your feedback Dave.
You've lost 1000 posts? How did that happen? And why do you feel it's a bad thing to have many levels?
Not all threads were moved to the new forum, just too many I guess, I lost about 2000 posts or more.
It's never bothered me though and the new ones do raise a chuckle.

I was over 2000 at one time. Not complaining, but I do feel having a lot of levels can be confusing. Around 8 seems a good place for me.
Mind you, whatever you do there will always be those that just post for posting's sake to get a level higher.
