Had a call the other day saying that my National Insurance number had been compromised and to press 1 to take action. It had gone straight to my voicemail. The call came from a number with the prefix 07802, which is an O2 prefix. This appears to be a new one and is most definitely a scam. Stay alert if you receive a call like this, or similar to this, and do not respond by pressing any numbers on your phone.
Block the number and report it free to 7726.

These guys are targeting land and mobile numbers, from UK mobile and apparently international numbers.
This one got to my landline voicemail at end-April:

Be aware, and don't be hassled.

I've actually had this one myself, it was an automated voice with the same option 1 for further action
Needless to say I didn't proceed further with the call
This was back in February so it's been going on a while now
