My O2 app for ANDROID

Does such a thing exist.
Given Android has taken over iOS in sales in the UK, I thought that would be justification enough for O2 to finally release a "My O2" Android app.
Com'on O2!! 😐

There is a third party one but I never got it to work.
Sadly, many big companies still seem to concentrate on iPhone apps to the detriment of everything else

I agree, even my flipping bank now has an iPhone app.
Still it's only a matter of time before the love affair wears off, and perhaps a little logic will surface.

I have tried the third party app "My Allowance" which is rubbish.. the developer seems to have forgotten it.. 😞
Even Orange have a Android app for their customers! I don't understand O2 overlooking their Android customers.. we are a growing crowd! :mansurprised:
I hope an app is in the pipelines.. wishful thinking! 😐

o2.ie seem to be working on an app for their customers and o2.de have a few already on the Android Marketplace here. Surely it's just a case of someone from o2 editing one of these and releasing it?

Would be good but tbh I'm happy with the account section of the mobile web site. Bookmark it and put shortcut on your homescreen.

Bonus points to to Meh
just because you can write an app for something doesn't mean you have to, or even ought to. With the abilities of any half decent smart phone at your command, simply using the internet to check up on the info you need, or using the free txt service on 21202 - an option open to any old 'dumb-phone' is all we ever needed a couple of years ago.
I wonder if we're all suffering from conservation of intelligence, as our phones get smarter.....

.... except, of course, neither the mobile site or the text service give the full My O2 information. We could all 'make do' with the website, but that misses the point that people expect an app (because its quicker, uses less data and can use the My O2 information in cleverer ways )
Still no Android app?

I'm sure if O2 put there mind to it they could create a web-app.

What info do you specifically want? Itemised billing etc? I don't know what the iPhone version has.
Tell ya what, you develop the app, and I'll buy it for a quid. Make ya rich tongue
