Cycling is more popular than ever in the UK and looks like it will only increase in popularity.
There are many professional cycling teams in existence riding at various levels and there are many races held throughout the year. One of the most high profile teams is called Movistar, sponsored by Telefonica.
Nairo Quintana of the Movistar team did very well in 2013, coming 2nd in the Tour de France. Last year in the Tour de France some of the race was held in Britain. The Movistar team had 02 written on their clothing in 2014 for all to see.
How come 02 doesn’t make more of this? It would be great to see some Tour de France themed stuff in the shops. Why not some reporting in the shops, or TV coverage so people can watch whilst they are in the shops?
I don't know why Alejandro Valverde or Quintana did really well in the Tour de France 2014 wearing Movistar and 02 livery in Britain, and 02 didn't cover it either on its website or in its shops
Let’s get Movistar out there and well known and get a fan base built up to cheer on the guys in the Tour de France 2015..!!!

I use the Movistar network when in Spain....I have visited the Movistar phone shops whilst there. Absolutely no sign of reference to O2 shown anywhere in the shops...so they don't appear to recognise a link between the two ?

Nice shirt but I don't see O2 branding, unless it's on the back....?
